My client is a rapidly growing software and services company specializing in healthcare related insurance claims. They provide premium software as a service and clinical review services through industry education, upholding evidence-based standards, and delivering next-generation technology for property & casualty insurers, all while ensuring service excellence in every interaction, driving unmatched customer experience and satisfaction. 

The team is seeking a Salesforce Cloud Admin with a strong foundation in Salesforce administration. A diverse technical background that includes additional experience with data science, cloud infrastructure, information security, and working collaboratively with development teams is preferable and highly valued.

What You’ll Do

  • Salesforce Administration: Salesforce Administration: Manage user accounts, security settings, profiles, permission sets, standard and custom objects, fields, and workflow rules to ensure optimal platform performance and user access.

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage access and configuration on Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms, specifically Google Cloud, to support scalable and resilient solutions, including the ability to manage configuration and access from the command line using the Linux terminal.

  • Project Management Support: Write and maintain JIRA development tickets to clearly outline requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and system enhancements.

  • Data Science and Engineering: Collaborate with the analytics and reporting team to support data-driven features using SOQL. Leveraging Python and/or R to process fixed-width and character-delimited files, analyze datasets, and develop insights for operational efficiency is preferable experience.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including leadership, data science, operations, and IT security, to ensure Salesforce solutions meet business needs, adhere to security standards, and support process automation.

Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administration & Architecture

    • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, specifically managing multiple separate Salesforce organizations simultaneously.

    • Configuration Mastery: Deep proficiency in managing the Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, roles), standard/custom objects, field management, and workflow automation.

    • Data Architecture: Strong ability to understand and master complex data architecture schemas, with specific experience in translating object and field mappings between different systems. 

    • Query Languages: Demonstrated proficiency in SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) to support data retrieval and analytics.

  • Cloud Infrastructure & Technical Skills

    • Cloud Platforms: Experience managing access and configuration on Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platforms, with a specific requirement for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

    • Command Line Proficiency: Ability to navigate and manage system configurations using the Linux terminal/command line interface (CLI).

    • Data Engineering/Scripting (Preferred): Experience leveraging Python and/or R to process data files (fixed-width, character-delimited), analyze datasets, and perform data engineering tasks.

  • Project Management & Operations

    • Ticket Management: Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar project management tools, including the ability to write clear development tickets, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

    • Business Analysis: Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and system enhancements.

    • Collaboration: Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams (Leadership, Operations, Data Science, InfoSec) to align technical solutions with business goals.

  • Other Competencies
