Community Partnerships Consultant (Part-Time)
Location: New York City (primarily Brooklyn & Manhattan)
Compensation: $60/hour
Time Commitment: Fractional, up to 10 hours/week
Engagement: 30-days test engagement (with potential to extend)
My client is a founder-led, NYC-based app that helps people discover unique stores, in-store events, and curated neighborhood itineraries.
The team is seeking a Community Partnerships Consultant to help build grassroots distribution by activating people who already make recommendations around New York City. The app is free, and the focus is on growing active usage by building authentic relationships with people who would genuinely find it useful.
Ideal candidates enjoy networking, meeting new people, and sharing tools that make people’s lives easier — and are excited to brainstorm how to grow distribution in a non-salesy, partnerships-driven way.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role focused on learning what works quickly. If the 30-day test goes well, the goal is to extend the contract.
